A Super Science-Geek Guide to Humectants
The folks at Naturally Curly made this excellent infographic to describe what Humectants and Anti-Humectants do in hair. Tonya McKay is one of my favorite Curl Chemists and writes some pretty awesome stuff. If your hair isn't doing what you want it to do even when you follow all of the Curly Girl rules, you may want to check your ingredients and make sure you have the right balance. Enjoy!
